Reductant -Bisulfite
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

This product is specially used to protect membrane systems from oxidant damage. Before the raw water enters the reverse osmosis equipment for pretreatment, the influent water is usually chlorinated to inhibit the microbial growth, and during this process, the residual chlorine will irreversibly destroy the reverse osmosis membrane by oxidation. The active ingredients in this product can quickly decompose residual chlorines, protect membranes from being oxygenized, and are used to remove residual chlorines and combined chlorines from the membrane system influent water.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

It is applicable to all brands of aromatic polyamide membranes and acetic acid membranes;

It can quickly remove free chlorines and combined chlorines from water;

It is mutually soluble with water at any ratio.

Appearance:Colorless transparent liquid

Solubility:Soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol

Specific gravity:1.02-1.05 (g/cm3, 20℃)

METHOD OF USE

Directly added into the system, and recommended to add before membrane and non-oxidizing fungicide. The dosage depends on the residual chlorine content in system. In general, the experience dosage is 5 ppm reductant used for 1 ppm residual chlorine;

This product can also be diluted for use, and the recommended validity period of the diluted liquid is 5 days.
